2004 – The Year Ahead

What’s in store?

Jan 2004

After the strident nature of the last few years 2004 appears to be a bit of a pusy cat: no outer planets changing signs: no nasty, cyclic phases; and nothing really to get you teeth into.

Looking at 2004 is a stange beast. Following on from the disruption of the last few years this is a welcome change. Uranus makes its final entry into Pisces; Neptune and Pluto don’t change sign.

Jupiter and Saturn will sextile each other towards the middle of the year but they are both weak as they are in their signs of detriment: they can’t express themselves as fully as they might. This productive phase in their cycle, the opening sextile, could cause us to get a bit carried away with things. I would not be at all surprised to see increases in house prices, domestic debt and spending generally. But beware: the crisis associated with the square will follow in 2005 and profligate behaviour will have to be paid for then.
