2004 Capricorn Ingress
The Sun's Entry into Capricorn
The Sun's movement into Capricorn is its position of maximum southern
declination: the Winter equinox. From this point on it's moving northwards
as it moves around the zodiac. This is deepest winter time for those in
the northern hemisphere and they can take some comfort from knowing that
the days will be getting lighter from this point. Although I'm sure they
wont say this with as much relish as they do when telling everyone that
it's getting darker when we pass the Summer equinox.
2004 Capricorn Ingress - Set for London
Starting with the Ascendant, you can see we have Aries on the cusp of
the first with Mars, in Scorpio, in the seventh house. What would usually
be a very unfortunate placing is actually quite powerful as Mars is in
his sign of rulership. He is towards the end of the sign and doesn't make
any further aspects before he changes signs - perhaps this is to do with
an existing situation which has been going on for sometime with no end
in sight. Perhaps the only way to effect change is to change the players?
It doesn't take too big a leap of the imagination to see the Mars could
be to do with the ongoing military situation - we are in an alliance which
is good seventh house territory - and that we are coming up for an election.
Mars will change signs on 26th December which will also see him moving
to square Uranus, another significator for sudden change. The Sun is also
moving to sextile Uranus and the Moon is just past the exact sextile to
Uranus and in the first house. The Sun and Moon are in trine, albeit just
past exactitude. These harmonious aspects would indicate that what ever
sudden changes are about to happen, they have the backing of the people
- the Moon - and could be driven by the people as the Moon is very strong
and well placed.
What ever happens, it seems that it may be very welcome.
