Dr Who is back
Looking at the astrology behind the new series
March 2005
The eagerly awaited new series of Dr Who aired on Saturday night and was very
well received, at least in my household it was, and I wasn't disappointed by
the astrology either. Not only did the broadcast time fit perfectly with the
two actors but it fits well with the chart for the original broadcast too.
Dr Who 2005
Dr Who - First Broadcast
Christopher Ecclestone
Billie Piper
Dr Who with Progressions
The Moon of the Saturday broadcast is at 17 Libra picking up Piper's
Mercury at 17 Libra and Ecclestone's Jupiter at 17 Aries; this Mercury
Jupiter theme was picked up brilliantly in the first episode when the
Doctor fails to spot the London Eye - Jupiter has his attention on the
Big Picture and fails to see the details. Saturn in the orignal broadcast
chart is at 17 Aquarius conjunct the MC at 19 Aquarius and these points
pick up this opposition by trine and sextile. Interestingly, the new series
also has Saturn conjunct the MC - this is a Time Lord after all.
The Sun of the Saturday broadcast was conjunct Venus and Mercury picking
up Ecclestone's Venus and Moon (time willing) and also Jupiter in the
original broadcast chart. The progressed MC of the original series is
currently at 1 Aries so it will progress over these points in the next
few years. This usually indicates a period of achievement so perhaps the
best is yet to come?
Progressed Moon is at 29 Leo which picks up the noon positions of Piper's
Sun and Moon but care must be taken as if she's born later in the day
then this doesn't hold.
What does cement the two actors and the original series is the nodal
positions. Piper and Ecclestone have conjoined North Nodes which also
join with the nodes from the original broadcast. Don't forget that the
original was broadcast only a few months before Ecclestone was born so
he will have all the outer planet contacts. However, the progressed Sun
from the original series has moved to conjoin the south node bringing
these three charts into line at this moment in time.
As someone said to me "We know in our hearts that this is Dr Who",
what a great expression of progressed Sun touching three conjoined nodal
axes?
