Thoughts for October 2006 - Moving out of the Eye of the Storm
21 October 2006
Technical problems have seen the site down for some time and I hope these have
been finally resolved. Since I last wrote events have almost been
too depressing to write about. Saturn, Neptune and Jupiter have
faced each other in a T-Square formation for most of the summer.
Saturn and Jupiter are in the outgoing square phase of their cycle.
That is, they are making their first square since the conjunction
in May 2000.
The usual associations with hard aspects in the Jupiter Saturn
cycle include economic instability, financial crisis and jitters
in propery markets. Stories of these keep croping up but the actual
events don't seem to follow. This is almost certainly due to the
confounding effect of Neptune on the other leg of the triangle.
The last of the three Jupiter Saturn squares will take place in
the last week of October leaving Saturn and Neptune to complete
their face off while Jupiter catches up with Uranus early next year.
