An explanation of some technical terms
The Lunar Nodes
New and full moons near the nodes will be eclipses.
The two points of intersection where the plane of the orbit of
the Moon crosses the plane of the ecliptic. There is a mean value
or “true” value. It's a matter of debate which is the
more accurate. The node moves backwards, or retrograde, around the
ecliptic completing the whole zodiac in just over eighteen years.
The mean node is always retrograde, the true node moves direct occasionally
as if it's wobbling along. This motion is due to a combination of
forces. These occasional forward movements can be significant for
progressions.
North Node: Benefic/Jupiter, what you do not know
are/should be moving towards
South Node: Malefic/Saturn, what you have mastered
and are/should be leaving behind
Meanings: associations, large groups of people, clans, family,
society.
